A comprehensive understanding of digestion, the absorption and metabolism of nutrients, the use of supplements and food as medicine, special diets and the nutritional treatment of all forms of health problems are all integral factors in optimal body nutrition.

My approach to Nutrition emphasises the individual and empowers them to take greater responsibility for their own health care and maintenance. Treatments may typically include behavioral and lifestyle counseling, diet therapy, food preparation and medicinal cooking, the therapeutic application of foods with specific functions, traditional approaches to detoxification, therapeutic fasting and nutritional supplements.

Proper Nutrition stresses the use of whole and organic foods as medicine - a concept that is an integral part of many indigenous societies. Today we see that a return to chemical-free foods, alongside other dietary measures, is an effective answer to many health complaints and common conditions.
